Assistant Branch Manager - Coleraine - Permanent This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll be working across multiple areas of the branch: managing key account conversations over the phone, supporting the field sales team to win new business, and stepping in at the trade counter to ensure every customer gets exactly what they need. The role requires a mix of commercial awareness, hands-on involvement, and the ability to support both trading performance and strong teamwork. About the role:
1. Up to £35,000 per annum
2. Monday to Friday
3. 37 hours a week
4. Permanent
What you'll be doing in this role:
5. Engage with customers by phone, in person, and support field reps with quotes and follow-ups.
6. Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers. Work closely with sales teams to maximise opportunities and protect margin.
7. Monitor sales metrics (quote conversion, CRM activity, customer engagement) and take proactive action to meet targets.
8. Contribute to branch monthly and quarterly sales and margin goals.
9. Support operations and dispatch to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely order fulfilment.
10. Assist with cost control and branch reporting alongside the Branch Manager.
