Overview
Shape innovative, high‑quality mental health services for adults with learning disabilities in West Wiltshire. The post holder will provide clinical leadership, psychiatric input and collaborate with local and national partners to deliver evidence‑based, effective treatment.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric input to adults with learning disabilities residing in West Wiltshire.
* Liaise with and advise inpatient mental health services and the specialist LDA unit.
* Work closely with the Local Authority and Integrated Care System partners to ensure collaborative working and delivery of evidence‑based treatment.
* Support ongoing professional development (CPD) and enhance the team’s expertise across subspecialties.
Qualifications
* Registered professional with current GMC registration (MBBS or equivalent).
* Registered on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of gaining a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
* Ability to achieve specialist status within three months of appointment.
* Evidence of participation in CPD and multidisciplinary team involvement.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
