A successful primary school in Oxford is recruiting a reflective and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from January 2026. The KS2 Teacher will teach across the Key Stage as required, plan sequenced lessons that secure cumulative knowledge, and run targeted interventions. Induction and a thorough handover will take place prior to January 2026, and the KS2 Teacher will be fully in post from January 2026.

The KS2 Teacher will apply assessment to set precise next steps, create a purposeful classroom culture and collaborate with subject leads to raise standards across Oxford. The KS2 Teacher role offers CPD, structured planning time and supportive leadership.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons that develop knowledge, fluency and reasoning.
* Lead small-group tuition and targeted interventions to accelerate learning.
* Use assessment data to inform planning and report progress to parents and leaders.
* Support phase moderation, curriculum development and enrichment across Oxford.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
Person specification
* Qualified Teacher Status with strong KS2 experience and evidence of positive impact.
* Effective classroom management, assessment literacy and collaborative mindset.
* Ready to commence January 2026 and to attend induction sessions before January 2026.
