Driver's Mate – Lanark
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate – Lanark to join our well-established client based in Lanark. This role would suit candidates who have experience as a Driver's Assistant or Delivery Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity offering guaranteed full-time hours, immediate starts, and genuine potential for a permanent position.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Start times from 04:00am
• Job & finish role
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Rates of Pay
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Driver's Mate, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting drivers with deliveries to customers' homes
• Loading and unloading products safely (heavy lifting involved)
• Supporting with route completion and paperwork
• Delivering excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Following all health and safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be considered for this Driver's Mate role, you will need:
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
• The ability to travel to Lanark for early morning starts
• Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling duties
• A reliable, punctual, and team-focused approach
Training Provided
• Site assessment prior to start
• Manual handling training provided
• Drug and alcohol test required before starting
