Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Yeeles group in the Protein and Nucleic Acid Chemistry Division at LMB. You will join a friendly, supportive and ambitious lab focused on understanding at the molecular level how accurate and complete chromosome replication is accomplished by the replisome. The project will focus on the molecular mechanisms of replisome assembly in yeast and human and is supported by a Wellcome Trust grant.
Qualifications
You will have a PhD in a relevant area, or be due to complete a PhD within 6 months. A strong background in either in vitro biochemistry, genome integrity studies or cryo-EM is essential. Previous research experience on DNA replication is desirable but is not essential provided you are highly motivated to learn and share knowledge with the group.

This is a three-year training and development position suitable for you if you have recently completed your doctoral studies, or you are looking to move into a new research discipline and/or need to further develop your research skills.
