Are you a recent graduate hoping to gain school-based experience before starting a career in teaching or the wider education sector?
New Directions Education are currently partnering with a number of Primary Schools across Chester who are looking to welcome enthusiastic Graduates into their teams on both a part-time and full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build hands-on experience before applying for a PGCE, Schools Direct, or other teacher training pathways.
You’ll support children with their academic, social and emotional development, helping them reach their full potential. Roles may include 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and general classroom assistance. There may also be chances to take on lesson cover, giving you valuable insight and experience ahead of teacher training.
We are looking for aspiring teachers who have graduated in subjects such as:
1. English
2. Maths
3. Science
4. Humanities (History, Geography, RE)
5. Languages
6. Art & Design
7. Psychology / Social Sciences
8. Sport & Physical Activity
9. Or any degree subject with a passion for education
