Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
