We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) to join our Neonatal Service across three units: Princess Royal Maternity, Royal Alexandra Hospital, and the Royal Hospital for Children. The service has a total capacity of 94 cots, including 23 intensive care, 23 high dependency, and 48 special care cots.
As a Senior ANNP, you will provide expert clinical care for newborns, working closely with families, carers, colleagues, and stakeholders. You will make autonomous, complex decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment, utilizing your advanced skills and knowledge.
This role is positioned within the Tier 2 staff rota.
You will be a key member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering advanced neonatal nursing and medical practice. Responsibilities include education, audits, supporting quality improvement projects, and clinical leadership. You will promote values-based leadership and foster ongoing development of advanced nursing practice, encouraging a positive learning culture that enhances patient care.
You will advocate for evidence-based approaches in service delivery, aiming to facilitate continuous quality improvement at all levels. Working within protocols and guidelines, you will assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care for babies.
