As a Discrete Event Simulation Engineer at JLR, you’ll support vehicle and system programmes by creating virtual models of manufacturing processes from concept through to delivery. What To Expect
* Developing and delivering discrete event simulation models and documentation from early concept through to programme milestones
* Supporting optimisation of systems including cycle time, buffers and operational performance to meet programme targets
* Collaborating with engineering, production and programme teams to refine designs and resolve constraints
* Analysing bottlenecks and proposing strategies to improve throughput and efficiency
* Coordinating feedback and presenting insights through dashboards, reviews and stakeholder updates
What You’ll Need
* Demonstrating experience with discrete event simulation tools and production process flow modelling
* Applying problem solving skills to complex technical systems including bottleneck analysis and optimisation
* Managing projects and communicating insights clearly to both technical teams and senior stakeholders
