Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and be proficient in various office software applications. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to management, and assisting with daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the management of rotas ensure that all shifts are covered, in advance to maintain safe staffing levels.
* To ensure the recruitment and onboarding is completed
* Order of uniform and badges
* Hold daily / weekly rota meetings
* Work closely with the Registered Home Manager and Heads of Department regrading staff management
* Work with external agencies to support the home
* Reviewing and signing timesheets of agency staff
* Add staff rotas to our electronic rota management system, Deputy
* Oversee the management of annual leave on the Deputy system
* Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
* Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
* General administration jobs such as filing and scanning
* Basic IT skills including the use of Microsoft applications
* Excellent communication
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good customer service and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience as an administrator is desired but not essential
Must have previous healthcare / care home experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
