- To be the brand ambassador, acting as the public face of the school.
- Administer all aspects of admissions and enrolment relating to the admission of students to The Hammond School and College courses, and to ensure all prospective families have an exceptional experience and are guided through a seamless and professional admissions journey.
- Act as the focal point of contact for queries made in person, by telephone, email, or letter from prospective parents, from initial enquiry through to enrolment, and for existing parents who are considering the next stage of their child’s school career.
- To deliver the school’s recruitment targets.
- To form excellent relationships and maintain regular and clear lines of communication and correspondence throughout the full admissions process.
- Run the admissions process in line with The Hammond’s Admissions Policy and update the policy and procedure as necessary
- Co-ordinate CME (Children Missing in Education) and SAM (Schools Admission Module) administration.
- To ensure the school roll is up-to-date and accurate at all times.
- Draft offer letters and keep records of acceptance and other and creating follow-up support plans for those unsuccessful at audition.
- Ensure all admissions correspondence and communications are personalised and of a high standard.
- Liaise with finance staff to ensure invoices are correctly compiled.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software
Safeguarding
The successful candidate will be subject to employment checks, including DBS and reference checks and will be provided with safeguarding training.
