A welcoming and well-resourced secondary SEN school in Hinckley is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time in February/March 2026. This is a long-term opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young people with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.
Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will support students across the school, helping to deliver a highly personalised, sensory-based curriculum. This is a rewarding and hands-on role that requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with complex needs.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and EBD
* Helping to deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities
* Supporting communication using tools like PECS, Makaton, or AAC
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
