Department: Adults & Health
This is a key management role driving how Adult Social Care uses data, systems, and digital tools to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and efficient services. You will lead the business intelligence and systems development functions, ensuring robust data, high‑quality insight, and effective system performance to support strategic decision‑making and service improvement.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and develop BI and systems teams, building capability in SQL and data analytics
* Deliver high‑quality reporting, insight, and statutory returns
* Drive data transformation, integration, and automation to improve data quality and accessibility
* Oversee development and optimisation of Adult Social Care systems
* Lead digital transformation initiatives in partnership with corporate teams
* Provide analytical insight to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
About you
* Experienced in leading BI, data, or systems functions within a complex organisation
* Strong track record in digital transformation and system delivery
* Advanced SQL and data modelling expertise
* Able to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change
* Flexible and hybrid working
