Record books remember the names of a few, but history is written by the many. This role operates Monday to Friday on rotating early and late shifts. The early shift starts 06:00 and finishes at 14:30. The late shift starts at 14:00 and finishes 22:30. About the role: As our NDT Technician your responsibilities will include: Performing in-process and final quality checks ensuring products comply with relevant specifications. Recording and evaluating test results and subsequently generating NDT inspection reports. Highlighting any non-conformances and actively contributing to the overall quality of the products and processes. Maintaining test equipment and ensuring it remains in calibration. Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product. Actively contributing to improvement initiatives targeting lead-time, quality and health and safety and our suite of SoP's and authorised documents What we are looking for: A qualified NDT Technician with PCN or Aerospace (EN 4179) Level 2 qualifications inat least 2of the following NDT disciplines: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI), Eddy Current (EDT) or Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI). Any experience with Digital Radiography and CT or a Level 3 in any method in addition to the above is welcomed. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with production, design and managerial staff. Good PC Skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports is necessary. Flexibility in hours and a can-do approach is required, along with the ability to work in a team with minimum supervision. The successful person for the role must be committed, motivated and self-disciplined in their work and have excellent communication skills coupled with a keen eye for detail are necessary. With the ability to work under pressure and continue produce quality work.
