Role Overview
The Central Norfolk CFYP services are currently organised into a 0 to 14 CAMHS service and a 14 - 18 Youth Service, although we are about to enter a period of transition moving to a 0 -18 CAMHS service and 18 - 25 Young Adult (YAMHS) service. It is possible that while this role will be initially based in the youth service, it could move to either of these two services.
The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist clinical interventions to our young people, their families and loved ones, and it also involves delivery of leadership activities within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical interventions.
* Work as a non-medical prescriber.
* Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues.
* Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
* Undertake other clinical tasks within the team.
Qualifications
* nursing qualification
* trained as a non-medical prescriber
* extensive experience in mental health
