The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Communications Officer within the Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) Support Team. The successful candidate will be an experienced communications professional with knowledge of alcohol and drugs, responsible for leading the development and delivery of key communications, campaigns, and projects.
The role involves creating and implementing a communication and marketing strategy for Renfrewshire ADP. The post-holder will manage all external communication channels, primarily digital, and will be responsible for engaging with service users and stakeholders. They will plan, produce, and manage content across multiple channels, ensuring messages are tailored to audiences.
The candidate will proactively monitor and evaluate communication activities, managing any reputational risks promptly. They will report to the Renfrewshire ADP Co-ordinator, receive mentorship from the HSCP’s Communications Manager, and collaborate with the ADP Support Team, senior operational staff, other HSCP services, NHS communication teams, and external organizations. Knowledge of alcohol and drugs, strong digital media skills, and sound judgment are essential, especially when handling sensitive or controversial issues.
