Position: Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: Central London

With a strong track record of delivering top-tier Building Surveying, Project Management, and Cost Consultancy services, the firm boasts a loyal client base spanning blue-chip occupiers, developers, private estates, and institutional investors. The Building Surveying team, made up of five passionate professionals, operates with a collaborative spirit and a proactive "one for all" approach.
Project work is varied and high-calibre. Recent instructions include a Cat B fit-out of a contemporary pizzeria concept blending pizza parlour, cocktail bar, and restaurant aesthetics, fire reinstatement works at the landmark Pan Peninsula residential development in Canary Wharf, and a range of commercial projects across Retail, Office, and Residential sectors.
The role involves a mix of approximately 65% project-led work (Contract Administration, Project Management) and 35% professional services (Dilapidations, Schedules of Condition, Party Wall, Pre-acquisition Surveys). As you progress, you’ll take on a more client-facing, commercial role within the business, with clear routes to Senior Surveyor and beyond.
Key requirements include MRICS qualification, ideally with 12-24 months post-qualification experience, though broader experience will absolutely be considered. A strong grounding in Contract Administration and wider Building Surveying duties is essential, alongside excellent communication skills and a clear drive for career growth.
In return, you’ll receive a highly competitive package including a basic salary ranging from £40,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience), Benefits : Annual bonus, 25 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme (following successful probation), private healthcare with Aviva Healthcare after probation, one funded RICS professional subscription, a home working allowance of £25 per month towards broadband and home setup, and access to hybrid working with up to two days a week from home.
