Job Title: Science Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part time / Permanent
Rate of Pay: £168.00 - £232.00
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Teacher of Science to motivate and inspire pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4 within a motivated secondary school in Cornwall. The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and support students to achieve their potential in science. This role includes planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community. Experience teaching Physics or Chemistry is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective science lessons for KS3 and KS4.
* Plan and prepare lessons, assess student progress, and provide timely feedback.
* Create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
* Collaborate with department colleagues to support the science program.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher with the ability to teach science; experience in Physics or Chemistry is advantageous but not essential.
* Relevant experience in another teaching role is desirable.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
