This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic communications team at Scotland’s largest College.
Edinburgh College helps tens of thousands of students achieve the future they want and your role will be to research and publicise some of the amazing stories that happen on campus each year.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting all communications activity across the College, including media and stakeholder communications, social media, internal student and staff communications and website support.
There will be a requirement to promote stories from around the College and assist with the gathering of video and photo content. This is in addition to the research and writing of press releases to gain high-profile publicity in local, national and international media outlets, enhancing and protecting the college’s reputation.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is at ease working in a proactive press team and able to balance several different workstreams at the same time. You’ll also be someone who’s a great team player – willing and able to help out other members of the marketing and design teams when needed.
