An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our day service team in providing clerical assistance and support to management and staff.
Responsibilities
* Provide an effective and efficient clerical support service to the manager and staff.
* Provide a reception service.
* Budget Control And Other Financial Functions: Maintain and create databases for monitoring purposes, annual leave entitlement, sick absences, etc.
* Pro-active in all aspects of recruitment processes.
The Individual / Qualifications
* Experience of using relevant technology and equipment e.g. photocopier, E-mail, Intra/internet
* Significant clerical/administration/typing experience
* Experience of utilising a range of computer packages including Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
* 4 SQA National 5's or equivalent at level 3 or above inc English; Recognised word processing qualification.
* Ability to use initiative when required.
* A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure.
* Effective interpersonal skills both oral and written.
* Ability to record information accurately.
* Self-confident and self-motivated.
* Effective customer care skills and focus.
* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
* An ability to meet set standards and agreed targets.
* Proficiency in a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks.
* Effective organisational skills/time management with the ability to respond to conflicting and competing priorities.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to relate well with all levels of staff.
* Effective team working skills.
* Willingness to accept direction/delegation.
* Appreciation, acceptance of and commitment to importance of confidentiality. Approachable, tactful and helpful
* Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs and demands of the service
