Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, our head office is based in Shepperton, Surrey, for a Campsite Manager. The Campsite Manager will oversee daily operations at our eco-friendly camping sites, ensuring the smooth management of guest stays and facility maintenance. Responsibilities include building a new team from the start, coordinating staff, managing bookings and customer interactions, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and operational guidelines, and implementing strategies to enhance guest experiences. The successful candidate will foster a welcoming atmosphere, troubleshoot operational issues in real-time, and drive initiatives to improve sustainability practices at the sites.
Qualifications
* Operational Management and Leadership: Experience in managing teams, overseeing daily campsite operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
* Customer Service and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities to maintain guest satisfaction and address inquiries effectively.
* Administrative and Technological Proficiency: Expertise in managing bookings, maintaining records, and using software for scheduling, inventory, and resource allocation.
* Knowledge of Eco-tourism and Sustainability: A passion for sustainable practices and familiarity with eco-tourism principles.
* Additional Skills: Maintenance and organizational skills for ensuring campsite facilities are operating optimally; experience in hospitality or rural business is an advantage.
