GSL Education are seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to pupils across schools in Nottinghamshire. As a 1:1 SEND TA, you will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will create a nurturing and structured environment, ensuring that individual needs are met while encouraging confidence and independence. 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND needs in a classroom setting. Assist with implementing learning strategies and adapting resources to meet individual requirements. Work alongside teachers to deliver lessons according to the curriculum. Support social, emotional, and behavioural development. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. Requirements: Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable. CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of SEND practices. Excellent communication, patience, and resilience. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
