A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated nurse to join our Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist team as a Teenage and Young adult CNS (TYA Clinical Nurse Specialist). We welcome applications from nurses who are passionate about improving the experience and outcomes of teenagers and young adults living with cancer.
If you have significant senior experience caring for young people with cancer and enjoy working in a role that blends clinical expertise, emotional support and service development, we'd love to hear from you.
Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is a designated TYA cancer hospital within the South West network, working in partnership with the Principal Treatment Centre at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Our service provides specialist malignant haematology and oncology care, alongside emotional, social and practical support. This post includes 7.5 hours of LARF funding for 2 years.

The ability to work sensitively with young people and their families
Confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations
