Job Title: Engineering Manager
Salary: £80,000 + Company Car+ Company Benefits
Monday - Friday - Day Shift
We have partnered with a leading recycling & waste management company who are a leader in material processing, energy from waste and renewable energy production. The client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Manager to oversee their renewable energy site operations, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and compliance.
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment.
Explore opportunities to enhance efficiency of engineering practices
Lead Capex projects across multiple sites
Manage and improve preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
Support production teams to minimise downtime and optimise machine performance.
Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to technical issues.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical equipment availability.
Key Requirements:
Level 3 / HNC or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Experience within Recycling/waste, renewable energy, energy from waste, biomass, anaerobic digestion or similar heavy engineering industries
Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance planning, and lean manufacturing.
