Senior Quantity Surveyor – Midlands/Wales
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across a complex facilities management and construction environment. This is a key role offering the opportunity to influence major projects while ensuring value, compliance, and strong financial performance.
The Role
As a trusted commercial advisor, you’ll work closely with clients, operational teams, and supply chain partners to deliver effective contract management across core services and projects. You’ll provide cost advice, support pricing, and maintain strong financial control—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.
What You’ll Do
* Manage commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account
* Provide cost modelling, pricing support, and financial reporting
* Oversee change management and contract variations
* Monitor supply chain performance and manage supplier payments
* Support risk management, governance, and compliance processes
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making
* Contribute to sustainability and efficiency initiatives
About You
* Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in construction, FM, or property maintenance
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost control and risk management
* Experience delivering projects ranging from £1M–£20M and multiple smaller works
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Experience within MOD or highly regulated environments
* Knowledge of collaborative frameworks (e.g. BS11000)
