Located in Londons Mayfair andoverlooking Green Park, the Royal Air Force Club offers first class facilitiesand a home from home' to its 24,000 members, predominantly serving and former officers of the RAF and Allied Air Forces and their families. Having opened its doors in 1922 the Club is full of history and character. With 110 bedrooms and 10 meeting and banqueting rooms, the Club is a truly hidden gem with modern and elegant interior and facilities.
ROLE DESCRIPTIO N
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring the clubs facilities, rooms, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role supports the Head of Housekeeping in managing staff, coordinating schedules, and delivering an exceptional experience for members and guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including allocation of tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to the clubs standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and consistency of cleaning services.
Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to improve skills and efficiency.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment; place orders as required.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Handle member or guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly and professionally.
Support in preparing schedules, rotas, and maintaining attendance records.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good communication skills and ability to resolve issues diplomatically.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.

Able to be a Lobby Host when required
