The Senior Network Engineer Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures across a range of complex environments. You will work across production LANs and global WANs, implement bespoke firewall rules, and contribute to high‑ and low‑level network designs.
The role blends hands‑on delivery with technical problem solving, lab work, and proof of concepts, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys shaping and improving network solutions.
* Strong experience delivering and supporting WAN architectures
* In‑depth knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
* Experience with VPNs and network security infrastructure (for example IKEv2 and next‑generation firewalls)
* Ability to work from both high level and low level network designs and produce clear documentation
* Proven troubleshooting and implementation experience in secure environments
* Infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible or Terraform
* Experience with NSX, high assurance IP encryptors, or whitebox networking
* Cisco CCNP or equivalent practical experience
