Purpose of the Role
This role provides analytical, operational, and delivery support to the Global Head of Platform Control and Support. The individual will work across key stakeholders in Investment, Client Group, Product, Technology, and Operations to coordinate impact assessments, support incident resolution activity, and contribute to operating model design and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role suited to a business consultant or project manager with strong asset management knowledge, able to operate in a complex environment and help drive structured, well-governed change.
Team Overview
The Platform Control and Support team acts as the single point of entry for all change impacting the Global Operating Platform. The team collaborates with internal experts, technology partners, and product owners to:
* Maintain platform stability
* Minimise operational and regulatory risk
* Support impact assessments for platform-wide change
* Coordinate incident response and remediation activity
* Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement
* Maintain high-quality onboarding and client experience outcomes
This role supports these activities through analysis, coordination, and structured project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In principle, the role provides structured delivery, analytical, and coordination support to the Global Head of Platform Control and Support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operating Model Impact Assessment
* Support the coordination of impact assessments across teams and third-party providers.
* Contribute to the design of target operating models across platforms, processes, data, and organisational components.
* Translate assessments into clear documentation, materials, and delivery support for implementation teams.
* Prepare and support the presentation of recommendations to governance forums and senior stakeholders.
* Track, monitor, and document impacts throughout project lifecycles.
Incident Resolution and Operational Support
* Assist in the coordination of high-priority incidents by providing analytical and operational support.
* Help structure and document triage, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
* Support remediation planning and ensure lessons learned are captured and embedded.
* Help maintain incident response protocols and continuous improvement activities.
Stakeholder Engagement and Governance Support
* Support the Global Head in engaging with senior stakeholders across Investment, Client Group, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
* Coordinate materials, documentation, and updates for governance forums and stakeholder meetings.
* Maintain clear communication channels, ensuring transparency of status, risks, and dependencies.
Project Delivery and Continuous Improvement
* Contribute to the delivery of platform change initiatives and process improvements.
* Support cross-functional delivery teams by managing documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-ups.
* Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and operational efficiencies.
Capabilities And Experience
* Experience in asset management, investment operations, or financial services consulting.
* Strong understanding of asset management processes, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
* Understanding of investment and operational processes across asset classes including fixed income, equity, multi-asset, derivatives, loans, and private assets.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operating models, processes, and data flows.
* Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or change initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to timelines.
* Exposure to business analysis, operating model design, process mapping, or structured project methodologies.
* Confidence working with stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
