Overview
We’re hiring a Cost Manager to support the financial management of a diverse range of construction projects. This role offers the chance to work across all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring budgets are met, costs are controlled, and value is delivered. You’ll collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients, taking responsibility for cost planning, reporting, and contract management.
What you’ll be doing
* Delivering pre- and post-contract cost management (planning, procurement, valuations, contract notices)
* Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Managing project variations and financial controls
* Supporting value engineering and risk management
* Leading site progress meetings and attending valuation/site visits
* Experience in cost management within construction
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
