The post holders will be responsible for outpatient reception duties, managing waiting lists, and interacting with Trust services and external referrers. The Administrator will play a key role in the efficient day-to-day activities of the department, providing high-quality administrative support. Tasks include reception duties, maintaining waiting lists and work queues, and ensuring requests are completed promptly.

Main Duties:
1. Provide high-quality administrative support, including booking meeting rooms, organising equipment, ordering supplies, and other ad hoc duties.
2. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and service users, with in-depth knowledge of outpatient scheduling.
3. Support the service, including cross-cover for team members and deputising for the Team Lead when required.
4. Advise and support less experienced employees on administrative duties.
5. Maintain the hospital Epic System accurately and timely; assist with data collation.
6. Provide excellent customer care, offering timely and relevant advice to service users.
7. Perform any other duties necessary for the smooth operation of the service.
Communication:
1. Act as the first point of contact for callers, visitors, and deliveries.
2. Handle enquiries courteously and efficiently, referring to appropriate staff when needed.
