Sociable Hours available for experienced Support Workers in the Heanor area.
We're currently recruiting experienced support workers to work within a specialist Autism Day Service in Heanor, Derbyshire. This vibrant service offers a variety of structured activities tailored to each individual's needs and interests.
As a support worker, you'll play a key role in assisting service users with their daily routines, encouraging independence, and helping them engage in meaningful activities that promote personal growth and confidence.
To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience supporting service users with Autism within a formal support service
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep
Ongoing hours with the opportunity to become a permenant position for the right candidate.
We have flexible part time opportunities available for the right candidate with typical hours being 09:00 to 15:00 on days from Monday to Friday.
You will be paid £12.21 per hour
