Job Summary
Most work will occur in the field under typical (hot and humid) Alabama conditions; some laboratory work is also expected
Essential Functions
* Traveling to field sites around Alabama
* Assist w/ native bee field work including setting up insect traps & sweep netting
* Collecting/Entering data into spreadsheets
* Assist w/beekeeping tasks such as hive management
* Honeybee box building & maintenance
* Research related tasks

Minimum Qualifications
* Enrolled student at Auburn University
* Interest in Entomology or related discipline
* Valid U.S. Driver’s License
* Ability to work outside for long periods
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in insect collection, beehives, bee collecting and data entry
Pay Rate
Pay Rate $11.00/hour
