Your Key Responsibilities:
• Providing dedicated and compassionate support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
• Working closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive social interactions.
• Monitoring progress, celebrating achievements, and liaising with teachers and parents to ensure each child thrives academically, emotionally, and socially.
Our Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
• Has previous experience supporting children with SEN and promoting inclusive practice.
• Is empathetic, patient, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing.
• Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Is enthusiastic about making learning accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for all children.
