We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and pro-active receptionist to join our team at Shield Vets!
As a receptionist, you will provide a customer-focused service to our clients and their animals. You should be able to work well within a team and independently. Our team is professional and personable, working in a busy, challenging environment, making each day varied and interesting.
You need the ability to remain calm and work quickly under pressure, showing empathy in all situations, from sharing the excitement of a puppy’s first visit to comforting a client receiving bad news.
The role includes general reception and admin duties such as answering phones, booking appointments, handling queries, scanning, mailing, taking payments, over-the-counter sales, and assisting vets and nurses to ensure smooth practice operations.
