Key Responsibilities of the Business Manager: Oversee and manage all financial agreements, funding arrangements, and contracts relating to commercial vehicle transactions. Ensure all finance and funding activities are compliant with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies. Monitor and report on profitability, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation. Lead initiatives to improve operational performance in finance, insurance, and customer retention areas. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, increasing repeat business. Collaborate with sales, operations, and aftersales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to aftercare. Maintain strong relationships with financial partners, insurers, and key stakeholders. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy. Provide accurate and timely management reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior leadership. Skills / Experience required for the Business Manager role: Proven experience in a business management, finance, or commercial leadership role within the automotive, commercial vehicle, or related industry. Strong understanding of vehicle finance, insurance products, and funding processes. Commercially astute with the ability to analyse financial performance and identify growth opportunities. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and driven by results. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
