KS1 Teaching Assistant – Stockton
Are you an enthusiastic and supportive KS1 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? Milk Education is recruiting passionate individuals to support children in Key Stage 1 across Primary Schools in Stockton.
What you’ll do:
1. Support class teachers in creating a safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment
2. Assist with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities
3. Provide 1:1 or small group support for children who need extra help
4. Contribute to observations and help track pupil progress
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with KS1 children in a school setting
6. Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or teaching assistant qualification preferred
7. Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and learning milestones
8. A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
9. Confidence supporting children with varying needs
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
