Salary is dependent on experience. This role offers the potential to progress to Head of Department, with excellent support and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Manage a broad range of family and childcare law matters, including care proceedings and PLO cases, private law children disputes, and applications for domestic abuse, non‑molestation, and occupation orders.
* Cover divorce and financial remedies, and wider family law issues such as disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitation.
* Represent clients in hearings, demonstrate strong advocacy skills and work independently or as part of a team.
* Generate and manage caseload, with knowledge of legal aid alongside private work and ambition to achieve panel accreditation and future leadership.

Qualifications
* 3+ years PQE in family/childcare law.
* Confident working independently or as part of a team.
* Strong advocacy skills and ability to represent clients in hearings.
* Experience managing or generating own caseload desirable.
* Knowledge of legal aid alongside private work.
* Aspiration to achieve panel accreditation and future leadership.
