Project Manager – Residential Housing (Affordable Housing Sites)
Location: St Agnes & St Erme, Cornwall
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in house building to oversee two affordable housing developments in St Agnes (36-unit traditional build) and St Erme (30-unit timber frame), both being delivered for Coastline Housing. Both projects are expected to be live by October.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable house builder, leading high-quality residential schemes and working closely with both clients and site teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, programme, and manage the delivery of both sites to agreed timescales and budgets
2. Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
3. Maintain strong communication with the client, employer’s agent, and other stakeholders
4. Liaise with LABC to ensure compliance with building regulations and quality standards
5. Drive health & safety, quality, and environmental standards across both sites
About You
6. Proven track record in residential construction project management, ideally within affordable housing
7. Experience with both traditional build and timber frame construction methods
8. Based in Cornwall, with strong local supply chain knowledge
9. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (or equivalent)
10. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
