The Role You'll be joining a busy regional office delivering around 600 units per year, taking ownership of the technical function and driving projects forward from inception through to completion. With a strong pipeline of work and real backing from the business, this is a role where you can make your mark. A key part of the position will involve managing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements, so experience navigating highways adoption and infrastructure agreements is essential. What You'll Be Doing Leading and managing the technical team across a portfolio of residential developments Overseeing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements from negotiation through to adoption Working closely with engineering consultants, local authorities, and internal departments Managing design programmes and ensuring technical information is delivered on time Supporting land appraisals and due diligence on new acquisitions Mentoring and developing junior members of the team What We're Looking For A Technical Manager or Senior Engineer ready to step up, with a background in civil or structural engineering Strong experience in residential housebuilding Solid understanding of highways and infrastructure agreements Someone who can lead a team, manage external consultants, and keep projects moving A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred What's On Offer £75,000 - £85,000 basic salary Car allowance Bonus scheme Hybrid working Genuine opportunity for career progression within a growing business If this sounds like the right move for you, get in touch!
