Requirements for the role:
* BEng/MEng/BSc or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Ideally knowledge of software such as Robot, Tekla Building Designer and Revit
* Experience working with building structures, both new build and refurb
* Strong communication skills; candidates will need to be able to liaise confidently with clients, contractors and architects
* Chartered or aspiring to chartership with the ICE or ISTructE
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the structural department and design team and being a point of contact for clients and stakeholders
* Delivering detailed design of building structures both new build and refurb
* Liaising with clients, contractors and architects
* Aiding with the development of junior members of staff
* Running and delivering projects which will increase in size and complexity as you gain experience
* Helping with the implementation of new software
* Have a key role in strategic planning
