We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Henley-on-Thames. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in insurance brokerage, who is adept at managing and renewing client accounts, and who excels in delivering exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and renew a portfolio of commercial client accounts, ensuring their insurance needs are met with the highest level of service.
* Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
* Oversee the administration of insurance portfolios, ensuring all client data is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
* Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and premiums on behalf of clients.
* Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage and provide expert advice on insurance products and services.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.
* Work closely with the team to ensure a cohesive approach to account management and customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in renewals, customer service, and account management within the insurance sector.
* Strong knowledge of insurance policies, market practices, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in relevant software and computer systems.
* Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are highly desirable.
