We are looking for a lively and dynamic Nursery Practitioner to contribute to the flourishing and forward-looking Nursery department. The role of the Nursery Practitioner is to help ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education. This will be achieved by working closely with the children on a daily basis.
Location: On site at our beautiful 70-acre countryside setting within 1 hour of London
Contract: Permanent, 3 days per week (varying shifts from or, 12 months per year
Start Date: 4th November 2025
Salary: Up to £16,000 annually, depending on experience
Role responsibilities:
* Be friendly, warm and kind towards our youngest learners, welcoming them each morning and letting them know that you are there to support them.
* Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
* Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Ensure that children are kept safe and that you follow the St Neot's safeguarding policy.
* Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members.
* Support the Head of Nursery and Room Manager in the day-to-day operation in order to ensure the health and safety of the children, their parents, carers, the team and any visitors to the nursery.
* Adhere to the St Neot's health and safety policies and procedures.
* Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures.
* Provide any medical care that may be needed, in accordance with the first aid policy and in consultation with the School Nurse.
