An excellent opportunity for an experienced & preferably Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer capable of taking a senior role with a progression plan into a Chief role within 6-12 months.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role:
* Concept/detailed mechanical design
* Lead a team of 4 Mechanical Design Engineers
* Take a client facing role
* Be the primary point of contact for the mechanical design team
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - The Person:
* Solid mechanical design preferably of rotating equipment
* Be capable to carry out full mechanical calculations including tolerances, stress & FEA
* Be degree qualified and preferably Chartered
* Proven ability to lead a team of Engineers
An excellent opportunity to join a busy and friendly team as they continue to expand. You will be someone who enjoys the hands on aspect of mechanical design engineering alongside supporting & developing other Engineers. They are seeking candidates with the ability to keep things moving whilst being open to and interested in change, with a keenness to be ever improving.
Located in West Yorkshire, this role would be commutable from Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds and surrounding areas.
