Job Description:
To safely execute the maintenance plan and provide expert engineering support to the site - ensuring all site plant and machinery meet operational targets for productivity, quality and service.
A multi-skilled approach with strong Mechanical Engineering prowess. The site has multiple technologies and experience is sought in Ammonia Plants; Industrial freezers; Boiler Plant; Automation and Food Manufacturing Equipment.
Result areas:
* To ensure work is performed in a safe and responsible manner, maintaining the safety of colleges and self at all times.
* To work collaboratively with operations as 'one' team to support the sites 'Must Win Battles'
* Provide engineering support to the site; Experience working in a GMP food environment
* To support a culture of continuous improvement and actively participate in CI programmes – (experience of centre lining machines, 5S and Route Cause Analysis advantageous)
* To ensure planned preventative maintenance is conducted in a professional manner
* To ensure assigned plant condition monitoring is undertaken and outcomes adequately reported and follow up work identified
* Maintenance & Process monitoring of industrial Process Plant; Ammonia Refrigeration plant; Steam Boiler Plant; Effluent Treatment.
* A commitment to learning and ongoing training
* Support the use of the sites CMMS system. Undertaking work orders and feeding back into the system.
* Undertake project work as part of the sites ongoing investment programme; Installation; PUWER assessment; PM assessment; Critical Spares analysis Asset
Required Skills:
* Recognised Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance
* Experience in operating and maintaining Steam Boilers; Ammonia Plant; Automated Industrial Freezers; Conveyors; Mixing equipment; Packaging equipment; Robotic Automation.
* Good fault finding and diagnostics capabilities
* Ability to work without supervision – self management & good attention to detail
* Ability to follow a Risk assessment process
* IT literate ; Familiarity with Outlook; CMMS systems; Word and Excel
* Flexibility to provide shift cover on alternative shifts to meet business needs; cover holidays or project secondments.
