They are growing, and now looking for a hands-on, service-driven HR Advisor to deliver expert, pragmatic, and commercially minded advice to their client base. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations Guide clients through all types of ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters. Provide advice and documentation to ensure a compliant process that meets client needs. Absence Management Advise on managing short and long-term absence cases, including sickness, holidays, career breaks, and compassionate leave. Guide clients in the use of absence management tools such as welfare calls, return-to-work interviews, and absence review meetings. T UPE and Redundancy Provide first-line advice on TUPE transfer queries, including those involving redundancies. Guide clients through redundancy procedures, both individual and multiple-role, ensuring compliance and appropriate documentation. Family-Friendly and Flexible Working Advise on family-friendly policies, both statutory and enhanced. Support clients through flexible working requests and hybrid working arrangements. Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Provide advice on EDI related cases, including discrimination, bullying, and harassment. Recommend and supply policy documentation to help clients foster inclusive workplaces. Recruitment and Selectio n Advise clients on legal requirements and best practice in recruitment campaigns. Support with drafting job descriptions and designing fair, effective selection processes. Provide guidance on sourcing and attracting suitable candidates, including tools such as psychometric or on-the-job testing. Onboarding and Induction Review and design induction, onboarding, and probation processes that encourage employee engagement. Advise on managing probationary reviews and early-stage employment concerns. HR Documentation Draft and review offer documentation, including contracts and onboarding forms. Advise on contractual variations. Work with clients to create and update handbooks and policies tailored to their business. Business Development and Networking Build strong relationships and deliver consistently excellent service to identify opportunities for client account growth or new services. Carry out any other duties as required. About You: Clients rely on Impact HR as trusted advisers, delivering compliant solutions to their people challenges and enabling them to focus on their business. This role is perfect for someone who excels at providing impactful HR advice, balancing legal compliance, best practice, and commercial awareness, as well as administrative support. You will use your in-depth knowledge of employment law and best practice, building lasting relationships with clients and the wider team within Impact HR. Skills and Experience: Experience in a strong generalist HR role, ideally within consultancy or a multi-site environment. Expert knowledge of UK employment law and best practice across the full employee lifecycle. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Strong prioritisation and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365. Experience with CRMs and HR systems. A solutions-focused, commercially aware mindset. Sound understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
