We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Band 5 Anaesthetic Nurse / ODP to join our Ophthalmology Perioperative Team at the National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC).
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will become a key member of our dedicated Ophthalmology team providing anaesthetic, recovery and scrubbing for Ophthalmology procedures while delivering exceptional care to our patients. While Ophthalmology experience is preferential, we are happy to provide training to the right candidate if needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
About the National Treatment Centre - Highland:
The NTC-H is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that provides top-quality care to both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic patients. Located within the University Campus of the City, the Centre features:
* 5 theatres
* A 24-bedded ward
* A dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department
We are proud to have 2.6 dedicated Ophthalmology theatres to deliver specialised care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Anaesthetic/Recovery and Scrubbing for a wide range of Ophthalmology procedures
* Working as part of a passionate and skilled Ophthalmology team
* Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety at all times
Key Requirements:
* Ophthalmology experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate
* A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
* A desire to work within a forward-thinking team
