Our client supplies, installs and services a range of industrial Battery Chargers for use within industrial Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join a nationwide team responsible for servicing Battery Chargers and their related Battery Packs at commercial/industrial locations. Responsibilities of the role will include: - To organise & complete maintenance visits on industrial battery chargers according to manufacturers recommendations. - To replace batteries on customer sites. - To return maintenance documentation in an accurate and timely manner. - To survey customer sites for asset management purposes. - To advise Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during the course of duties. - To promote the company and act in a professional and diplomatic manner at all times. - To adhere to quality standards at all times. - Feedback quality issues to the office - Provide Technical Support to colleagues and customers as required. Any of the following experience and qualifications would be beneficial although training will be given: - Electrical/Electronic fault finding - Electromechanical Installation e.g. BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regs - Understanding of SLA, NiCD and Plante batteries - Experience working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), UKPN, National Grid or London Underground would be beneficial - UK Driving License and eligibility to work in UK are essential Benefits: Our client is employee owned and offer an attractive salary and benefits package to include profit share and overtime.
