Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Trading Manager based in Accrington. The Trading Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of Maundy Relief's shop and online trading activities, including managing staff and volunteers, supervising retail spaces, and identifying strategies to increase revenue. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately, and cultivating strong relationships with donors and customers to support the organization's mission. Flexibility, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose will be integral to success in this role.
Qualifications
* Experience in retail management, stock control, and supervising a team
* Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in basic financial management and record-keeping
* Ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff and volunteers effectively
* Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies for increasing sales
* Passion for social impact and a strong commitment to helping individuals in need
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
* Previous experience in a charity or non-profit organization is an added advantage
