We are a values-driven organisation committed to our mission of “One team, transforming lives.”
Working with us means making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people across Stockport every day. It also means being part of a forward-looking, thriving organisation that prides itself on being a great place to work.
We have a vacancy for a Housing Support Officer to provide intensive, personalised support to customers with a wide range of needs, including those with complex challenges and facing multiple forms of exclusion.

The successful candidate will assess risk and work effectively with in-house teams and external statutory and voluntary agencies such as Social Care and Probation Services to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
We are looking for someone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals in a hands-on, practical capacity, empowering customers to sustain their tenancies, improve their mental health, and achieve positive life outcomes. The role requires passion, self-motivation, persistence, and determination to engage and support customers with complex needs, particularly those who require guidance and practical support to address hoarding behaviours.
Strong IT skills are essential to effectively manage caseloads and use Microsoft packages, along with experience in accurate and clear recording of customer interventions.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
