Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and review health & safety policies and procedures. * Ensure permit applications comply with site zones, British standards, and environmental regulations along with site risk assessments * Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety legislation and industry standards. * Coordinate with health and safety team, construction team, and other departments to facilitate the permit approval process * Collaborate with different departments to promote a safe working environment. * Keep up to date with new health & safety regulations and industry best practices. * Maintain records of inspections, audits, and safety compliance reports. * Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors. * Support the development of emergency response and evacuation procedures. Key Requirements: * Degree/Diploma/NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. * NEBOSH/IOSH/ certification (or equivalent) preferred. * Proven experience in a health & safety advisory role along with permitting procedures. * Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices. * Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple contractors. * Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
